The William Henshaw Chapter was organized in 1898 and is the oldest DAR chapter in West Virginia.

  We have a long history of preserving and transcribing historic documents.

  We are active in the Martinsburg community. We take part in the annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival and recently raised money to buy a computer for the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department.
